Veteran's Day

November 11, 2025, By PBSWest.org

Each year on November 11, our nation pays tribute to its military veterans. It is a time to pause and honor the men and women who chose to put on the uniform, stand, and fight for our nation’s freedom and ideals — so that the people of America can pursue and live out the dreams their minds can imagine. These brave individuals protect our borders and defend the Constitution against all enemies.

Across generations, millions have stepped forward to defend liberty, uphold democracy, and safeguard the promise of opportunity. Freedom is never without cost, and it calls for our deepest gratitude. So, we honor those who stand on the front lines, ready to make the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live in freedom.

Today, we pay tribute to our veterans not only with words of thanks but through meaningful action. When we lead with purpose, extend kindness, and invest in our communities, we carry forward the legacy of those who have served. Service isn’t confined to a single day — it’s a way of life. Through that commitment, we keep their spirit alive in all we do.

In a time when headlines shift quickly and attention is fleeting, the meaning of service can sometimes be lost in the noise. Yet Phi Beta Sigma stands unwavering: your service is real, your sacrifice is profound, and your impact endures. Today, we proudly recognize and celebrate the Brothers of the Western Region who have served — and those who continue to serve — our nation with honor and distinction.

Let us remember our veterans not only in ceremony, but through the choices we make, the respect we show, and the service we continue to offer to our neighborhoods, our families, and our nation. On behalf of the Regional Board and the Brothers of the Western Region, we sincerely thank you and honor your service this Veterans Day.
