March 18, 2024, By PBSWest.org

The purpose of the Dr. Emile Pitre Honors Society is to recognize high achieving Collegiate Brothers within the Western Region of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. These brothers exemplify high scholastic ideals while leading on campus, in the community, and within the fraternity. This Honors Society serves as the highest distinction a Collegiate Brother can obtain within the region during their collegiate years.

To be eligible, a financial collegiate Brother must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 (with a minimum of 80 credit hours), and have been in the Fraternity at least two full semesters or three quarters, prior to application submission. An applicant should currently hold, or have previously held an elected or appointed leadership role on campus and/or within the fraternity at the local or regional level.

Each year up to 5 brothers may be recognized with this honor.
