Slave & Human Trafficking

January 1, 2021, By PBSWest.org

In response to the increase in Covid-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, and with the health and safety of our Members and their families in mind, the Fraternity is revising its Covid-19 Guidelines and Directives. The revised policy prohibits all in-person events and meetings. Chapters are prohibited from hosting, sponsoring, promoting, or otherwise participating in any Sigma-related in-person event, including but not limited to MIP activities, community service projects, and in-person Founders’ Day celebrations. All Chapter activities must be conducted virtually until further notice. A more detailed policy statement will be published from our International Headquarters on Monday. If any chapter(s) doesn't adhere to this policy, they will be suspended immediately!

As most of us by now have been affected by the COVID-19 epidemic either have contracted the disease themselves or by family, friends, and/or co-workers. Please protect yourselves and love ones the best you can. This directive is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The IHQ General Board will be watching the rise and fall of cases around the world and will be actively evaluating the policy.

If you have direct questions and or concerns, feel free to contact me. Stay safe!

Fraternally,
